The ASU met with representatives of Zinfra management last Friday to go through a list of outstanding matters in attempt to narrow the gap between the Union’s and management’s positions. We are pleased to report that considerable progress was made and we have moved closer to having a final position from your employer.
The principle outstanding issues and the most important items remaining are the quantum (pay increases) and a transition table to the new classification structure. We are hoping to have Zinfra’s position on both by our next meeting, this Friday (18/2/22). We will be looking to meet with you both to update you on progress and seek your direction next week. An update on meeting times will be sent once we have confirmation from Zinfra of further details of their offer.
