ASU representatives from across the Community Health sector have been working hard to represent ASU members and keep them informed throughout negotiations.

We recognize that ASU members at DPV do not currently have a union delegate, so we approached your Human Resources department yesterday to request that an ASU representative attend the next Enterprise Agreement information session. Your Human Resource department has denied this request.

This is disappointing as it has been possible for ASU representatives to speak at different centres information sessions to acknowledge the hard work of ASU bargaining representatives and provide the ASU perspective on the outstanding matters that remain in dispute.

ASU delegates recently met and agreed that the current wage offer and VHIA positions on other matters still need improvement for the agreement to be endorsed by ASU members.

Thanks, to all the DPV members who have contacted the ASU over the last weeks. DPV staff like all workers need union representation.

Please contact the ASU if you are interested in nominating as an ASU delegate or holding a workplace meeting.
