The ASU will be holding a member’s meeting this Wednesday to vote on a revised management offer.

Management has withdrawn their support for the Transmission of Business clause as the Government has advised they do not support the inclusion of this clause in the EA. Management is instead offering a 2% lump sum ‘Retention Payment’ to be paid on the final day of employment at the WRRG. This is in addition to the wage offer of 1% in January and a further 1% in April.
The ASU needs to respond to this offer on Wednesday to meet the Government’s deadline of 31 December 2021. A further bargaining meeting with management is scheduled for 3pm on Wednesday afternoon.
