The ASU advised management yesterday that we will provide in-principle support for the new Enterprise Agreement. This was following an ASU Members meeting that provided unanimous support for the management offer.

The in-principle agreement will deliver:

  • A one-year agreement from 1 January 2022 to 31 December 2022 with wage adjustment of 1% on 1 January 2022 and 1% April 2022, a 2% increase overall
  • A lump sum retention payment of 2% of base salary for each employee (pro-rata for part-time employees) to be paid in the last pay cycle before 30 June 2022
  • Minor updates to conditions to ensure consistency with legislative obligations

A formal vote of employees will occur next year and the agreement will then be submitted to the Fair Work Commission for certification.
