The Australian Electoral Commission has just declared the results of the ASU Branch elections. We are grateful for the strong support from members and honored to have been elected to lead our union forward.

Saturday’s election of the Coalition Government means we need to be prepared for another attack on working people and only increases the need for us to stick together to fight for fairer outcomes in the workplace.

Together with the newly elected Branch Executive, we will unify behind a very clear agenda which is focused on one thing only – delivering for members.

Our commitment to you is simple: We will listen to members as we build a better and stronger union, with members at the heart of everything we do.

Working with members across all industries, we’ll build a stronger and more united ASU.

Lisa Darmanin, Branch Secretary
Billy King, Branch Executive President
Michelle Jackson, Deputy Branch Secretary
Leon Wiegard, Assistant Branch Secretary

Federal Election Day is here comrades!
It’s our movement’s opportunity to tell the Government what we think about their abhorrent treatment of workers, substandard leadership and selling out of community standards in Aged Care education and more.
Let them know it’s time to change the rules! Change to the government to change the rules!!
