The ASU has reached in-principle agreement with management to roll over the Enterprise Agreement for a further 12 months. This is following the members meeting last week where ASU members unanimously endorsed the offer.
The agreement will deliver workers a $35 a week pay rise or 1.75%, whichever is higher, from July 2022. This is a slightly higher percentage increase than what was discussed at the members meeting, following last-minute negotiations with unions.
This is a great result and reflective of the strong union membership and dedicated ASU delegates at Whittlesea.
