At your most recent Enterprise Agreement meeting, members voted unanimously for a wage increase of 2% or $30, whichever is greater.
On you instructions, we applied for a Protected Action Ballot.
The Australian Electoral Commission will conduct the ballot. You should receive the ballot paper shortly.
If you have not received your ballot by Friday, September 27, you need to contact the AEC on 132326. The ASU cannot contact them on your behalf- you need to contact them directly.
Please complete your ballot paper as soon as possible.
We need the majority of members to vote, and a majority of members to vote YES to take protected industrial action.
The Ballot closes on Thursday October 10, 2019.
The AEC will advise all parties of the result. We then need to give council three days’ notice of the intention to take industrial action. At this point we will advise you when to start the bans.
Both Moyne Shire and Sth. Grampians Shire have received 2% or $30, whichever is greater.
WHY SHOULD YOU MISS OUT BECAUSE COUNCIL MANAGEMENT CAN’T BALANCE THE BOOKS?
Please ensure all your details are correct.
