As you are aware, TPG Telecom has initiated bargaining for your new Enterprise Agreement.  They plan to roll 3 agreements into one new Enterprise Agreement, the outcome for you being an Agreement stripped bare of many significant conditions you currently receive, including a dramatic cut in your wages and earning potential.

They claim they are “particularly proud of” the new proposed agreement, however it seeks to bring your conditions back to the basic award conditions.  Don’t be fooled by the “you will be better off overall” commentary as they are referring to you being better off than the award, which is the bare legal minimum.  You will NOT better off compared to your current conditions.

Bargaining meetings commence on Tuesday 22 February, with 3 full days of bargaining planned by TPG.  At the meeting on Monday evening we will discuss a draft log of claims (your wish list) which will be presented to management during bargaining.
