At our last meeting members voted to accept an exchange of letters/ MOU between Vision Super and the ASU outlining an interim settlement as opposed to finalizing an enterprise agreement.
This was not the recommended position as we believe that having an enterprise agreement approved by the Fair Work Commission provides greater certainty around the enforcement of its terms.
That said a clear majority voted for this alternative path. At the last members meeting we undertook to circulate a draft of the proposed document prior to signing off on it.
