VicRoads has written to ASU to commence consultation around proposed changes in the Service Quality Framework area. Key features of the proposal includes a reduction from eight down to three staff members, and a downgrade of one position.

The MOU between ASU and the Victorian Government ensures no redundancies can occur for three years, so VicRoads will need to redeploy any unmatched staff.
We have already written to VicRoads to express our concern about the workload implications, as well as the fact that the consultation timeframes are inadequate for meaningful consultation.
But now we want to hear from you. During the consultation process we have an opportunity to provide feedback on the proposal, and VicRoads must consider and respond to any proposals from the Union.
