City of Melbourne management is not listening to the serious concerns of ASU Members claims and management is even trying to reduce worker entitlements.
The ASU has now attended five EA meetings in this second round of bargaining.
City of Melbourne has not agreed to any of the ASU Claims, Even claims that have no monetary value. They have also not withdrawn any of their Claims.
Members of the ASU need to VOTE YES to all options for protected industrial action and post your ballot back straight away.
If you have not received your ballot paper, you need to contact the Australian Electoral Commission immediately on firstname.lastname@example.org or 9285 7110.
- VOTE YES to protected action because management wants to scrap current entitlements to redeployment or voluntary redundancy
- VOTE YES to protected action because the two-tier pay system is unfair to workers
- VOTE YES to protected action because CoM employees deserve a fair pay rise
Now is the time to join your union and unite with other members to get a fair and equitable outcome from the City of Melbourne.
Only ASU members will be able to take Protected Industrial Action. Even if you join the union during or after the ballot process, you can still legally take industrial action to get a fair deal from CoM.
It’s easy to join the ASU online at www.asu.asn.au/asujoin
