Negotiations will soon begin for your enterprise agreement. We have been discussing the likelihood of being able to hold member meetings with management. Unfortunately, now with COVID cases increasing, site visits are looking unlikely.
We are obviously hopeful numbers will decrease and the ability to hold meetings will be reinstated however with negotiations commencing shortly, we cannot afford to take that chance.
ASU Gippsland Organiser Colin Houghton has scheduled online meetings to discuss and develop a log of claims. If COVID cases and restrictions are reduced we will rearrange to suit and attend sites, but at this stage for the health and safety of all involved, we will be holding meetings on Microsoft Teams.
