The ASU invites you to join us in marking International Women’s Day at Unions Tasmania’s event in both the north and south of the state on 8 March 2022.

This International Women’s Day, we’re raising our voices for women’s safety at work, for an end to discrimination, and for pay equity.

We’ve watched as Scott Morrison has turned a blind eye to the issues confronting women at work and a deaf year to those who have tried to speak up and drive positive change. He has failed to act on critical issues like women’s workplace safety and paid family domestic violence leave.

Australian Council of Trade Unions (ACTU) President, Michele O’Neil, will be the keynote speaker for each event.

All women, men, and non-binary people are invited to join with us and demand change.

We look forward to seeing all of our friends and supporters there.
