You will soon be asked if there should be constitutional recognition of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People.
The ASU will be holding member meetings, to discuss with members why it is important to be voting YES in the upcoming referendum and answer any questions you may have.
The meeting will go through;
- what is a referendum,
- what the proposed constitutional amendments are,
- why it is important to be voting YES
- things that you can do to help
Nillumbik Shire understands the importance of this and have agreed to meeting with members.
