The ASU BBQ visited Campaspe Shire last week to put on breakfast and lunch for depot members and morning tea at the council shire offices.
Members were happy to catch up and talk about some important issues in their workplaces and in local government.
The ASU briefed members on the ASU’s rate capping campaign, updated members on the most recent enterprise agreement negotiations and even elected 2 more delegates!
5 new members joined which has increased the membership density and puts members in a stronger negotiating position.
ASU Delegates are the essential link between ASU members at each workplace and the broader union. Effective delegates can identify issues and provide information to officials of our union to make sure members’ rights and conditions are protected.
