With the current rollover agreement set to expire in March 2023, ASU has secured agreement from SEW Management to commence bargaining in October this year.
Our preference was to commence earlier, but Management has agreed to hold meetings as frequently as required in order to get the process completed by March.
The current Government Wages Policy offers 1.5% pay increases per year. We have made it abundantly clear to Government that this is simply unacceptable in the current high inflation environment. We expect that wages policy to be increased before we reach any deal with SEW.
