Timeline extended
As members would be aware the Commonwealth Government made a recommendation, and provided financial support, to enable residential care workers who have more than one employer to work in just a single site until September 25, 2020.

This arrangement has now been extended until October 26, 2020.

Updating your leave
If you have taken approved leave from another residential aged care provider to consolidate your hours at one site, then you will need to extend that leave until October 26 as per the updated Guiding Principles.

If you want to make this arrangement permanent
Should you decide that you do not intend to return to one or more of your other positions, you must give those employers written “notice” that you will not be returning. The period of notice varies depending on the terms of your enterprise agreement.
