In 2012 we celebrated the historic win of the ASU Equal Pay case!

After a long campaign championed by ASU members, we won 23-45% increases to Award wages, setting new minimum rates of pay. In 2020 we face a threat to Equal Pay, with the federal government failing to commit to fully fund the legal minimum rates after 2020.

If Equal Pay is not funded, jobs and services will be under threat.

We want a sustainable sector that thrives on secure funding and a secure workforce. We need to stand together again as we did to win Equal Pay back in 2012, and Save Equal Pay!

Please come to along to a briefing from ASU officials on Equal Pay, the $550 million threat of funding shortfall and details on the ASU’s campaign to Save Equal Pay, now underway across the country.
