The state government have released their roadmap for re-opening workplaces. All going well local government workplaces will start to re-open over the next couple of months.

Next week their will changes to the operation of libraries in Metro Melbourne and outdoor pools in Regional Victoria which may require some of you to physically return to the workplace.

We have been in consultation with the state government and the local government sector over the past 2 weeks. We are expecting the state government to release a more detailed roadmap for local government. This will provide detail about what work areas will physically re-open when and any conditions that apply to each stage.

We expect that once the information is available it will be published here: https://www.localgovernment.vic.gov.au/resilience-and-emergency-management/coronavirus-covid-19-information

We will let you know once the information is published.

The presentation that was given to members at the meetings that we held over the last 2 days is attached. Please read if you were unable to attend the meetings or if you want to access any of the websites referred to in the meetings.

If your working arrangements are changing from Monday then management needs to be conducting a risk assessment and consulting with you now.
