The ASU Protected Action Ballot Order vote is now open!
If you haven’t received a ballot paper from the AEC at your home address, please contact the AEC ASAP – details below!
You need to VOTE YES, so we can take action to put pressure on management to give you a decent pay increase. It’s critical that you complete the ballot and return it in the post to AEC.
When it arrives, please fill out your ballot paper and return it to the AEC straight away. Make your voice heard and your vote count!
Follow the voting instructions – make sure you:
- Fill out the ballot paper
- Put it in the declaration envelope and sign the declaration envelope
- Put the declaration envelope inside the pre-paid envelope
- Post your ballot straight away
If you have not received your postal vote pack by Monday 1 November 2021 please contact the AEC immediately for a replacement by emailing PABevents@aec.gov.au or by calling 02 9375 6366 or 03 9285 7111 and referencing the PAB Order Number B2021/922
The activities on the ballot were compiled in consultation with ASU delegates from across council. It’s critical that you Vote Yes for all of the activities so that members across council can use all the activities, even if they don’t apply to your particular work area.
Only ASU members can participate in the protected industrial action. So now is a great time to ask others to join the union!
Chat to a workmate who isn’t yet an ASU member about the importance of joining the union and getting involved. It’s easy for anyone to join online at www.asu.asn.au/asujoin
