For years ASU delegates from across Ballarat and the Grampians region have been meeting bi-monthly at Ballarat Trades Hall.

The meetings bring together members from different industries to talk about issues affecting their workplace, their industry, and the region.

The ASU has regional members and delegates networks where active ASU members come together to:

  • Support the ASU to maintain a constant presence and relevance within their region,
  • Provide the structure and resources to respond and initiate campaigns across the region and across all sectors,
  • Provide the real opportunity for the ASU, delegates and members to stay in touch with each other and be better informed about both local and broader industrial issues,
  • Provide the basis to grow the union and to skill-up delegates and members to and grow the union within their workplace.

The ASU is a union of people in diverse industries who deliver the services Australian’s rely on every day.

Member and delegate networks are a way to harness the strength of our diversity for a stronger voice for workers.

The next Ballarat Delegates Network meeting will be at 6.00pm on Tuesday 6 August at Ballarat Trades Hall.

We have regional networks across the state so keep an eye out for one in your region.
