The ASU Negotiating Team has concluded negotiations for a new enterprise agreement and recommends the EA to members. We have secured an agreement that provides members with back pay and pay rises to 2025, in line with the wage outcomes at the City of Melbourne.

Today, QVM will provide staff with the enterprise agreement for a 7-day access period for members. All staff will then have an opportunity to vote online as to whether they support the agreement from 13 to 16 December. If endorsed by 50% of staff who vote, then the agreement will be sent to the Fair Work Commission for ratification.

The ASU Negotiating Team recommends members vote yes in the ballot.

The enterprise agreement delivers on the in-principle agreement members endorsed in mid-November.

The agreement provides the following pay rises:

2019 – 1.5% backpaid
2020 – 1.5% backpaid
2021 – 1.5% backpaid to 1 July
2022 – 1.5%
2023 – 2%
2024 – 2%

Conditions as agreed in the 2019 and 2020 negotiations.

Congratulations to members for a long and hard-fought campaign to secure a management offer that provides for back pay and fair pay increase!
