Quantum Support Services is still refusing to honour Flexi-Time arrangements, for some staff, while working from home during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Under clause 22.8 Flexi-Time in the Quantum Support Services Enterprise Agreement, you are entitled to accrue up to a maximum of 8 hours Flexi-Time, unless exceptional circumstances apply. This clause allows you to accumulate more than 8 hours Flex-Time under exceptional circumstances.
The clause can be viewed at https://www.fwc.gov.au/documents/documents/agreements/fwa/ae418934.pdf, go to Clause 22.8.
It is very disappointing that QSS is using the COVID-19 pandemic as an excuse to attempt to deny you your industrial rights under your enterprise agreement.
This is a very stressful time for all Victorians and the ASU would expect that QSS act reasonably to assist staff in balancing their family commitments with the vital work that you all do while many of you work from home.
If you believe that your Flexi-Time arrangements have been unreasonably refused, please speak with your ASU delegate or the ASU member contact centre at firstname.lastname@example.org
