Portable Long Service Leave (PLSL) became a reality on 1 July 2019 for most community sector workers.

ASU members have campaigned and fought for more than 25 years to make PLSL a reality and we are very proud to share it with you.

On Monday 12 August and Tuesday 13 August the ASU will be holding open meetings around PLSL at Uniting Church In Australia – Synod Of Vic & Tas. This meeting will be open to both members and non-members who are struggling to comprehend the complexity of the new PLSL legislation.

DATE: Monday 12 August
TIME: 12.00pm – 1.00pm
VENUE: 130 Little Collins Street, Melbourne

DATE: Tuesday 13 August
TIME: 12.00pm – 1.00pm
VENUE: 29 College Cres, Parkville

We will be discussing how the new scheme works, employer and employee requirements, how to access PLSL in the future and answer any questions you may have to make sure you get what you’re entitled to and fought for.
