Portable Long Service Leave (PLSL) became a reality on 1 July 2019 for most community sector workers.
ASU members have campaigned and fought for more than 25 years to make PLSL a reality and we are very proud to share it with you.
On Wednesday 31 July the ASU will be holding an open meeting around PLSL at the Salvation Army Crisis Centre. This meeting will be open to both members and non-members who are struggling to comprehend the complexity of the new PLSL legislation.
DATE: Wednesday 31 July
TIME: 12.30pm – 1.30pm
VENUE: 31 Grey Street, St Kilda
We will be discussing how the new scheme works, employer and employee requirements, how to access PLSL in the future and answer any questions you may have to make sure you get what you’re entitled to and fought for.
