Following feedback from members regarding the reduced choice of fleet vehicles the ASU and delegate Lauren White met with management this week to raise the concerns on behalf of members particularly relating to the limited choice of vehicle and cost.
At the meeting, we asked that the ASU be included in consultation as CoPP are currently reviewing the fleet vehicle guide. CoPP advised that they are open to feedback from the ASU on behalf of members regarding fleet allocations and current available choice of vehicles.
The feedback already provided includes the limit of choice of tool of trade vehicles most recently going from a choice of 8 vehicles down to only 3 and also the large cost discrepancies in available vehicles.
We are seeking that this feedback is taking into consideration and to be involved in consultation moving forward to ensure members best interests and needs are being met whilst still allowing for a range of choices in vehicles and pricing points. We will keep members updated in due course.
In the meantime, If you have any queries regarding the above please contact your delegate Lauren on Lauren.White@portphillip.vic.gov.au or
