ASU Members are advised that Australian Services Union officials and delegates met this week as part of the ongoing negotiations for the 2019 City of Port Phillip Enterprise Agreement.

This is the third bargaining meeting so far and initial discussions were completed on all ASU claims that make up the general provisions of the agreement.  Following these initial discussions CoPP is to follow up a number of items or provide further detail on their response to a number of these claims. The ASU will also table some proposed wording on items including disciplinary procedures and GPS to seek safeguards in these areas.

Over the next week separate meetings applying to the Appendix specific/Department specific claims will be set up.

Negotiations with management and the respective unions continue on a fortnightly basis with the next negotiation scheduled for Thursday 15 August 2019.

Please note that future membership meetings will be arranged for members to hear a comprehensive report back on the status of the log of claims. In the meantime your delegates have access to the updated table showing the progress on each claim if you would like more details.
