The ASU is about to begin a round of meetings across On the Line to develop a list of member claims to inform the bargaining process for a new Enterprise Bargaining Agreement (EBA). The current EBA has expired but the conditions included still apply until replaced.
Enterprise Bargaining Agreements (EBA) are your legal right to request and the mechanism to achieve improved conditions and wages that are legally binding. The ASU’s role is to resource members to bargain to improve conditions across the sector and deliver wages and conditions that support good work practice and life and work balance.
To be in the best position to negotiate a good outcome for our membership we need to have a clear loud voice! Please take the opportunity to talk to your colleagues that are yet to join the ASU and encourage them to get on board.
The ASU is keen to work with our membership across On The Line to develop a progressive, unified and collective voice in your workplace. The ASU is in a fortunate position as it has a strong, diverse and united Delegate structure and membership that are active and committed to ensuring that On the Line has a fair and decent working culture.
We look forward to an opportunity to meet with you and hope you can join us
