It’s been a rough couple of years, and it’s never been more clear how important workplace conditions are to mental and physical well-being. Unions give workers a stronger voice in their workplace and support members when things go wrong.
The ASU will be holding a Zoom meeting so NTV staff can learn more about union membership and meet your new ASU delegate, Natalie Wallace. The ASU represents thousands of workers across the Community Service sector and is constantly advocating for better treatment of workers like you. The ASU plays a key role in negotiating directly with NTV management for your Enterprise Agreement and holds a seat on the Joint Consultative Committee.
DATE: Thursday 30 June
TIME: 12pm – 1pm
ZOOM LINK: https://us06web.zoom.us/j/88511444065?pwd=RWljWTRaVUdQWlpOMm5UcDdoTjYyZz09
We’d like to hear from workers at NTV about any issues they think are affecting their work—both on the small scale and sector-wide. We can then talk about what the ASU can do to help you change things for the better.
The strength of the union movement is built by active members. Come and find out who the advocates in your workplace are and consider getting active yourself.
