Congratulations ASU members for your ongoing commitment to stand up and fight back! You’ve made a great start and Launch still aren’t listening to you, their valued but seemingly disrespected workers.
The ASU has now notified Launch of your next work ban. We hope this action sends Launch a strong message that ASU members won’t give up until you get what you deserve.
When: Wednesday 3 November and ongoing until members collectively decide otherwise
What: An indefinite or periodic ban on not opening, updating, or closing support periods, or submitting reports relating to Validata to the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare.
But what about the Zoom/Teams backgrounds, email signatures and voicemails?
These bans remain in place until members collectively decide otherwise. Whilst Launch are not yet listening, ASU members from the sector are watching and throwing their full support behind you. Delegates will send through these messages shortly, stay tuned!
Management hasn’t listened yet, is there a light at the end of this tunnel?
ASU members and delegates have not taken this action lightly; it comes after months of negotiations with little movement from management at the bargaining table. Whilst the past few weeks have been action-packed with bans, your ASU delegates believe that continued protected action will be the best way to force management to put forward a better offer.
The more active members are, the stronger you are to secure a better deal. Forward this to a colleague if you believe they have not yet joined and ask them to join today via www.asu.asn.au/asujoin
