The Australian Services Union invites ASU members of STAR Health employed at Inkerman Street, Fitzroy Street and Mitford Street sites to an important meeting.

DATE: Thursday 7 March
TIME: 2pm – 3pm
VENUE: Mitford Street, Cottage Meeting Room

Since we last met with members in January, your delegates have been hard at work. They have been asserting to your employer to genuinely consider ASU members’ recommendations of how to limit the impact of changes from the move from Inkerman Street, and associated operational changes regarding:

  • your work environment,
  • your  conditions
  • your capacity to do your jobs and
  • related issues of accessibility and potential outcomes for clients and service users of impacted program areas.

ASU delegates and officials met with Star HR, CFO, and managers from CPP, AOD, RhED on 28 February. Star have a new proposal, which they will provide in writing by COB 6 March for ASU members’ consideration. The purpose of the meeting on 7 March is to bring members together to discuss the outcome of the consultation process and to seek final member feedback. Please come along to the meeting to have a say about the changes in your workplace!
