Municipal Building Surveying Services is in crisis.
After suffering decades of under-resourcing and neglect – and compounded by additional responsibilities such as combustible cladding and pool fencing – workers in municipal building surveying services are at breaking point.
ASU members have decided that we can no longer tolerate this situation, and we have been meeting to discuss the issues facing our workforce and establish a plan to address these problems.
Our members have endorsed a workplace survey to gather data that we can use to drive some positive change in this critical sector.
All municipal building surveying services workers are invited to participate in our survey. It will take approximately 20 minutes to complete and is available via the link or QR code below.
