The ASU is holding a meeting for all municipal building surveying services workers.

ASU Organiser, Clay O’Brien, will be presenting the results of the ASU’s recent workplace survey. All interested people are invited to discuss the survey findings and plan the next steps in addressing the issues identified.

DATE: Wednesday 15 June
TIME: 4pm – 6pm

ASU members in municipal building surveying services have been meeting to discuss common issues, including:

  • Additional responsibilities
  • Increasing workloads and work-related stress
  • Under-resourcing; and
  • Increased risk to both the health and wellbeing of staff and the community.

Our survey results will help inform our actions to try and address these problems.

We all know that we are stronger and more effective when we all work together. There has never been a better time for people in municipal building surveying services to join the ASU and help fight for improvements that will make a difference to local government workers and the Victorian community.
