It’s time for ASU members to meet to discuss some critically important matters regarding the current enterprise agreement negotiations (details below).
Management has decided, despite there being around 40 outstanding items in negotiations, that we have had the final bargaining meeting as a group.
The ASU and ANMF rejected this position at the meeting and told Moreland management that we still had work to do to reach agreement.
The ASU will be holding meetings on Tuesday 12th April with members as follows to establish which outstanding claims YOU think are important to pursue:
- 7:30-8:30am at the Moreland Depot
- 12:30-1:30pm via MS Teams (Click here to join the meeting)
- 6:30-7:30pm for Library members (see email from ASU Delegates)
ASU members have voted in support of taking protected industrial action to try and pressure Moreland management to take their claims seriously.
Attend the above meetings to discuss how you want to implement these bans in your workplace.
ONLY ASU members will be protected in taking the industrial action outlined in our list of bans. Anyone who is not an ASU member who implements one of our work bans, whether formally or informally, will not be protected in doing that.
If you want to be protected in undertaking work bans in pursuit of a better deal, join the ASU today at: www.asu.asn.au/ASUJoin!
