With the current Moorabool Shire Enterprise Agreement expiring on June 30, 2020, ASU bargaining representatives have been meeting with management to progress towards making a new Enterprise Agreement.
At the last meeting three weeks ago, ASU bargaining representatives secured commitments from management that they would provide their log of claims and have their initial response to the claims made by the ASU, on behalf of our members.
At yesterday’s meeting, Management failed to honour their commitments to provide either of these.
This failure delays the bargaining timeframes by another fortnight, again causing unnecessary delays to the improvement of your employment terms and conditions. Under Good Faith Bargaining guidelines, your employer is required to respond to claims in a timely manner.
Another meeting has been scheduled in a fortnights time.
Please talk to a potential member or send this notice to any potential members that you know. The stronger the union, the more likely we are to achieve better bargaining outcomes.
