Thank you to Minister for Local Government Shaun Leane MP for meeting with ASU local government delegates from across Victoria today.
It was great to hear from the minister on his plans for the portfolio, and his reflections on local government.
Delegates took the opportunity to discuss important issues with the minister, including outsourcing of in-home aged care, library funding, rate capping, bushfire recovery and enterprise bargaining in local government.
We hope Minister Leane got a better appreciation of the big issues facing local government workers in Victoria.
