As you would already be aware, Portable Long Service Leave (PLSL) became a reality on 1 July 2019 for most community sector workers.

ASU members have campaigned and fought for more than 25 years to make PLSL a reality and we are very proud to share it with you.

Meetings will be open to both members and non-members who are struggling to comprehend the complexity of the new PLSL legislation.

We will be discussing how the new scheme works, employer and employee requirements, how to access PLSL in the future and answer any questions you may have to make sure you get what you’re entitled to and fought for.

It’s only by working together  in union that community sector workers can achieve things like portable long service leave. If you want to see more wins like this, become a member of the ASU today. https://www.asu.asn.au/asujoin
