Thank you to all the members who voted upon the final draft log of claims.
Now that we have an endorsed log of claims from the membership and the Notice of Representational Rights has been provided, we are in a position to commence negotiations.
We have booked our first meeting for next Tuesday 14 December.
Although the holiday period is around the corner, we wanted to meet to get the ball rolling. The first meeting tends to be more of a housekeeping meeting, for example, introductions around the table and the position those hold in this setting, setting up agreed process’ such as minutes being distributed within an agreed timeframe and of course the frequency of the meetings.
We will then be in a position to commence negotiating on each of the claims in subsequent meetings.
The ASU would like to thank your delegates Julia and Dom for all their hard work in getting us to this point and members for their high engagement. Your feedback has been vital in establishing this log of claims.
