Congratulations to all ASU members who took part in the Enterprise Agreement process.
As a union, we voted NO.
The end result was a YES – but the margins were tight.
There are things to like about this deal. But every last thing that you won – the extra pay, the extra annual leave, the extras for School Crossing Supervisors – was because YOU took part.
The Enterprise Agreement is a big opportunity to make things better for you and your co-workers at work. But there are other ways too. Especially the Consultative Committee, which you fought hard to keep at this round of bargaining.
Start thinking now about which 5 union members you’d like to represent you at the staff consultative committee. These people will be one of your most effective voices to management for the next 3 years.
Again, a huge congratulations on all your work so far. Now that we have a better Enterprise Agreement, let’s use it to keep making your working lives better!
