For two months now, the ASU Negotiating Team has been locked in renewed negotiations with CoM management to secure a better deal for the enterprise agreement.

We put the ‘Un-Capp our Wages’ campaign on hold because we were optimistic about getting a fair wage offer at the negotiating table.

We remain optimistic and have a further negotiation scheduled for this week and a further hearing before the Fair Work Commission on Thursday afternoon.

On Friday we will hold a member’s meeting to provide an update, discuss and vote on any CoM offers. The meeting will take place on Friday 13 August at 9am via zoom (details below).

This meeting is a paid meeting. CoM have advised us that members need to speak to their Director about attending in advance. We have been advised if staff are rostered on a shift at the time of the meeting they will continue to be paid.
