New North West ASU Organiser Jess Cassidy, Jess come to the ASU with a wealth of experience gained from 7 years working as an Organiser for the Finance Sector Union. Jess is responsible for Organising and servicing across the ASU areas of coverage in the North West of Tasmania, King Island and Flinders Island.
Hobart based ASU Organiser Karen Tantari has been with the ASU for 5 years. Karen is responsible for Organising and servicing across a number of Southern Tasmanian Councils and Social and Community Services employers as well as Water and Energy.
ASU Tasmanian Coordinator Kath Ryman has been with the ASU for almost 8 years. Along with Kath’s state wide Tasmanian Coordinator role she is responsible for Organising and servicing across the ASU areas of coverage in the North of the State.
ASU Branch Executive President Billy King is taking a hands on approach to working with the ASU Tassie team, ensuring that ASU’s Tasmanian Team is effectively resourced and supported.
ASU Organiser Aaron De La Torre has been with the ASU for almost 3 years. Aaron is responsible for Organising and servicing across a number of Southern Tasmanian Councils as well as Call Centres and Private Sector Clerical .
New ASU Growth & Campaigns Organiser Seranna Shutt brings many years of Organising experience to this newly created ASU role.
Seranna will be working with ASU members and Delegates across Tasmania with a focus on growth and workplace campaigns.
As a team we are focused, motivated and extremely excited about representing, educating, organising and activating ASU members in Tasmania to achieve beneficial outcomes – when members are empowered to solve industrial issues through active participation they can take control of their working lives.
