Thank you to those members that were able to attend our recent members meeting on the 22 March onsite.
There were a number of claims that we decided to include within a member survey to obtain feedback and a majority position on.
Please fill in this quick survey which will close on Monday 4 April. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/B9DVWLN
We have been able to obtain many new improvements at the negotiation table. A full list can be found here.
At the meeting, the discussion around the wages was in depth with many opinions expressed and many questions raised. In order to fill in the survey it is important to note that the rate cap amount is set each December by the state government, therefore we are unsure what it will be in future years. In 2022 we know it is 1.75%. Presently, this is the same amount offered as a pay increase. From 1 Oct 2020, pay rates were based on a 2.0% increase, from Oct 2021 there was a 1.5% rate increase.
We flagged at the last meeting the need for a delegate within ERT, if you are interested in hearing more about this role then please reach out to your delegates Julia, Dom or Organiser Lorraine.
