The community services sector is facing a crisis of insecure work and insecure funding. Fixed-term employment is now the norm as employers pass on the risk of short term funding contracts to workers like you.

ASU members are sick of it and are standing up to say that the state government can’t say that you are essential on one hand and treat your employment as expendable on the other. Words of thanks from the Premier aren’t enough.

It’s time that Daniel Andrews did something meaningful to support community sector workers and make your employment secure.

Join other ASU members at one of the meetings below to see how we are fighting to make the sector you love one that you have a future in.
