We will be holding members meetings next week to update you on a win in bargaining for your Enterprise Agreement. We have a new offer from Council for agreement and need your feedback. It includes an additional year to June 2024.

Thanks to members coming together and hard work from your delegates, we now have a better pay offer from Council, that reflects our claim to recognize your hard work:

  • July 2020 – 1.9% or $24 per week, whichever is greater
  • July 2021 – 1.6% or $21 per week, whichever is greater
  • July 2022 – 1.75% or $23 per week, whichever is greater
  • July 2023 – 1.75% or $27 per week or the rate cap, whichever is greater

We have not been able to reach further agreement on the Transfer of Business claim but we are working with Council to seek assurance for workers who could be affected. As a result of our claim for tea breaks for indoor staff, we will be meeting with members from Customer Service to continue to address concerns in this area.

We look forward to seeing you at one of the following sessions:

It’s only by working together that we have been able to improve conditions. Now is a great time to ask a co-worker to join the ASU at www.asu.asn.au/asujoin
