The ASU has been advised of proposed changes to the Assets and Environment team within the City Infrastructure Unit.

These changes include:

  • Repurposing the vacant Drainage Maintenance Technician role (Band 3) to a Leading Hand Asset Maintenance role (Band 4). The purpose of this role would be to oversee the daily operations of the Asset Maintenance team.
  • Realignment of the Assets Maintenance Team so they report to the Coordinator of Assets and Environment (currently report to Team Leader Assets and Environment).

Affected staff should have received information about the proposed changes and there is now an opportunity to provide feedback until 22 November.
