Your union met again with Manningham Council on Tuesday 9 February. It was a longer meeting as we worked through the remaining claims.
We received the information we had asked for relating to our end of band claim, worked on clauses including filling vacancies, timeframes for annual leave responses, family violence leave and the disciplinary procedure.
We are still waiting on responses from Council for a number of outstanding matters including transfer of business, dead animal allowance, employee in charge allowance, tea breaks and device allowance for home support workers.
At this point, we are expecting to hold our member meetings in the week starting 22 February, most likely midweek to provide updates and get your feedback. There will be multiple sessions to make it easier for us to get together at this important stage.
