Recent service closures and stand-downs across local government have been acutely felt by casual workers.

Insecure work increases social insecurity for all workers.

Casual workers are critical in the delivery of services to the community, however, many Councils have relied on casual work at the expense of your economic security.

The ASU invites all local government casual workers and delegates to an on-line meeting this Thursday at lunchtime.

DATE: Thursday 25 June
TIME: 12.30pm
MEETING LINK: https://tinyurl.com/ybtkbmq9

This meeting is an opportunity for casuals to discuss how we can work together to improve your working lives.

It is an open meeting and we encourage you to invite casuals you work with to attend.

All ASU delegates are welcome.

This is an opportunity to increase the understanding of the role of unions and learn what we can each do to improve the workplace for casuals.

We look forward to seeing you online this coming Thursday.
