The Australian Services Union invites you to the next meeting for all ASU Library delegates and Health and Safety Representatives.
DATE: Wednesday 3 June
TIME: 12:30pm – 1:30pm
ZOOM LINK: https://zoom.us/j/95872129420
MEETING ID: 958 7212 9420
Libraries in Victoria were allowed to open from today, and ASU members must be sharing the most up to date information.
This meeting will allow you to report back on how your library is tracking with consulting members on reopening, and share any tactics that have worked well in your workplace.
It will also allow you to check with other libraries from across the State on what safety practices are being utilised.
If you haven’t started consultation at your library yet, you can find a copy of the library opening checklist here, and a Pro-forma email you can send to management here. All members were given access to these documents last week.
If you have any agenda items included in the delegate meeting, please send them to Austin at email@example.com by 11am on Wednesday 3 June.
There’s been a massive surge of new members in libraries over the last three months, so make sure you’re up to date with the ASU recruitment competition.
There are four $500 prizes available for those who sign up the most members between now and Wednesday 30 September, so if you’ve been seeing a lot of interest in the union at your workplace, now is the time to chase it up!
