Your new Enterprise Agreement will soon go out to vote.
Unfortunately, the ASU cannot endorse the offer as it does not meet the standards that members have indicated are important. Management still believes they can ram this through.
Now it’s time for you to send a strong message to Launch Housing and VOTE NO!
There are still many concerns that have not been addressed. These include:
- A formal classification review of roles across Launch. Remember, Launch would not agree to showing the ASU how they’ve determined even 1 classification at Launch.
- No commitment to maintaining the consultation clause. Instead, Launch advised it is for your benefit to be consulted after a definite decision has been made on major change??
- Ignoring many other important claims which would provide more equality for staff, particularly for shift workers and casuals.
If you aren’t happy with this result, now is your time to VOTE NO.
It is critical that you talk to other staff in your area about why it’s important that they vote no too. Please share this notice with them.
A strong NO vote gets us back to the table to continue discussions. ASU members have also just voted to up step-up industrial action.
Only union members can undertake any protected action, so please encourage your colleagues to join the ASU today via www.asu.asn.au/asujoin
