We can confirm that the proposed enterprise agreement for Launceston Aquatic Centre has successfully been voted up and 98.5% of the staff that voted have said Yes.
The EA will now be prepared to be sent to Fair Work to be approved. Once the EA is approved, it will become enforceable and your back pay and pay increases will take effect.
Just some of the improvements made to this agreement include:
- Pay Increases of:
3.75% – 2022 (backdated)
3.75% – 2023
3.50% or CPI – 2024
3.50% or CPI – 2025
- Long Service Leave pro rata after seven years
- Gender Affirmation Leave (the first in Tasmanian councils)
- IVF Leave
